REJI JAMES

Born in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu in 1985, Reji James is the son of Late T. James and Late Elizabeth James. A graduate of Madurai Kamaraj University, he built his foundation not in classrooms alone — but through a series of self-driven ventures spanning mobile sales, restaurant business, real estate, insurance agency, household materials, used car sales, recruitment agency, and automobile finance. Each pursuit sharpened a different edge: market instinct, people management, strategic thinking, risk management, and the resilience that only real risk can teach. It was this breadth of experience — across industries, across failures and wins — that shaped him into the well-rounded business leader he is today. With a deep passion for innovation, Reji continues to drive growth, create opportunities, and build ventures that matter.

The right idea, built with the right standards, will always attract the right partners. In 2020, Reji founded CarsBuddy on a single-brand exclusivity model. Its standards attracted XPEL — the Nasdaq-listed U.S. paint protection company — which acquired a 60% stake to expand across South India. He also holds River EV two-wheeler dealerships in Mysore and Belgaum, creating direct and indirect employment for over 100 individuals. A living example that when you build with conviction, scale follows.
